Insane rooftop terrace & good services. Flat are a bit worn out overall for the prices. The company tries to remove any review mentioning something negative so that's also a con.

When moving to Germany I struggled to find a housing unit that would rent to me with no prior credit score. Belvillage made that very easy, you tell your price range and they give you options, you pay the rent and there's not much more to it. I was even able to start in the middle of the month according to when I needed to arrive in the country. Furnishing wise, it's everything you need from cutlery to a wardrobe, covers, pillows, etc. Soyer, who works in the building is incredibly kind and helpful. He answers all questions and puts in a ton of effort into making sure your needs are taken care of. When I came to Belvillage, which was my first time In Germany, he took the time (mind you it was 10PM at night) to show me around the neighborhood, explain the building. The apartment I was in was well located to where I work. It is accessible to U bahn and Tram. The apartment also has a group chat so you can receive packages and generally voice any complaints and concerns

Lived there for 2 years. Great location in Berlin and awesome people. The apartment was nice and comfortable, and the rooftop was great :)! The attention to the tenants given by John and Soyer is fantastic.

The agency presents itself as offering temporary short stays and charges exceptional prices for it (about 44€/m2), but then also enforces the strict conditions of a long-term contract while providing poor service. They happily push increases in rent through utility costs (Nebekosten). In our case they increased monthly costs from 250€ to 275€ (for a 28m2 studio) within the first few months arguing that 250€ couldn't cover the cost of the washing machines electricity consumption. This happened in the summer when electricity prices were at their lowest, and they initially tried to increase it up to 290€/month. You would expect that at these prices their service would at least be competent and kind, but this was not the case. In my opinion, a good example of who benefits from the city's housing crisis. Positives: the location, social community with the other tenants, and the Hausmeister was a great guy.
