About Bayerischer Wald
Wir waren so oft hier, immer wieder gut.
Located at Felseckerstraße 31, 90489 Nürnberg, Bayerischer Wald operates as a griechisch serving Nürnberg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:30 am–11 pm. It is closed on Wednesday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0911 557302. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 620 reviews, which is a strong result for a griechisch in Nürnberg and suggests consistent service.
Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I'm eating here for a long time. No idea if the dishes I don't like are any good, but the dishes I do like taste great. And the atmosphere here is nice, since the place is almost always quite full.

Attempted to go for dinner. The only table that was empty said reserved. I asked if we could reserve a table for later, and we would come back. We were told they don't do reservations. Obviously we won't bother coming back. Apparently they have regular clients and don't want new ones. Plenty of other good restaurants nearby.

Great food, great service and very reasonable price. The Hausteller satisfied my cravings for Greek food and taste was commendable. The ambience completed the over-all experience. Cheers!

A really authentic place, I was the only foreigner there! Definitely recommend, this was one of the most delicious pork I’ve ever eaten :) And it costed just 7.50 for a huge portion
