With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 9,706 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for themenpark in Grünwald. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

Grünwald is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Boring! For some one who have intersec in movies made in this studio maybe will find this is OK... But if you not have interest in Bavarian made movies skip this place.

I visited here for a childhood memory, and to see the props from neverending story, It was worth it just for that. If you are English deffo do an english tour as I couldnt book one and although they provide an english app it isnt the same. Takes a couple of hours in total.

I think that as a foreign person this is interesting because you get the understanding of how movies and tv shows are done. There was not that many movies i can relate to since we almost never seen German movies in Sweden. But the biggest production they have done here is U96 Das boot and this i have seen so this was interesting. Even have a full scale of the inside of the submarine that you can walk through. 4D cinema was ok but not the best we have done. I was hoping to see not only history things but also the new bigger halls where the program and movies of today is being recorded. Our guide Ella did a great job to tell us and make us understand how things work. Definitely need to book a slot for the guide before, not allowed to walk through without a guide. The tour takes about 2h and parking is just outside. Would recommend this for German speakers since the tour is in German and movie interesting people.

I would suggest to book your ticket in advance and than come in time so you have enough time to hang arround before. The tour takes 2hrs and is really interesting with kids and also to get a real feeling of filming and movies. Also different locations and lots to see and explore. Worth going.

Tour guide was super friendly and she was trying to include everyone in various acts. But the exibitions are not worth paying €23. Parking also cost €8. The tour would not take that long without tour guide.
