Nice beer garden. Food is German: pork and some potatoes. Beer and atmosphere is terrific. If you want to do like the Germans do than this is a good place

Great local watering hole. Authentic German food, lots of beer, and a playground for the kids to be entertained. We came on a Saturday before a German World Cup match. Atmosphere was lovely but not overcrowded. Very shaded too.

Today there was a man working at the self-service counter serving the pork knuckle/Schweinshaxe . Unfortunately, he was very rude. When we asked what he would recommend, his answer was simply “Coca-Cola.” When we chose sauerkraut as a side for the pork knuckle, he sarcastically commented that nobody orders those together. He then carelessly threw both plates onto the tray. The pork knuckle itself was very tough and difficult to cut. The knudel and sauerkraut were ok, but the fries were disappointing. Overall, both the food and the service were very poor. Although the venue itself is worth visiting, the dining experience was not. My recommendation is to order only beer and avoid the food.
