DO NOT USE ATU WEST!! Firstly, I have only been to this place 3 times as it is very close to my house. 3 times I’ve been in to ATU West and every time I left unsatisfied. 1st visit: moved from overseas and needed a new headlight unit fitting. Wouldn’t do it as I’d already bought the headlights elsewhere. Fair enough. However, they were rude and unhelpful. Customer service doesn’t seem to matter to them. 2nd visit: Serviced my car myself, but the oil filter was stuck on. I asked them if they could remove it. I advised that it would take 10 mins as they can lift the car and access the filter easily. They said they needed the car for 3 days (immediate red flag). They were also rude as said ‘why don’t I do it myself, if it only takes 10 mins’, after already explaining that I only have small ramps so very limited access. Cowboys. I took it somewhere else and they removed the filter in 10 mins…. 3rd visit: I had a screw stuck in my tyre. They refused to plug it as ‘the load index number on the tyre is too high to plug the tyre’. This is a complete lie. They would only provide a new tyre at a cost of €150. I was there on 21.01.2024 for HU&AU, without an appointment at 08:00. Was greeted kindly , they took all the details and my car keys. At 10:00 I got a text that my car was ready for pick up. Price was relatively less than other firms. Thanks ATU, I can only recommend.

I was attending this Garage until today. Two cars and three years doing their services here. But today I had a really awful experience. Waiting without knowing until when, one hour for nothing, and when I asked about the status I got a bad answer and disrespectful. I took the keys of my car and I left. Last time here.

Very bad experice took an Appointment almost one month before and on appointment date exactly,i had a called. your appointment will be extended for more one month because mechanic is not available for my car to repair, Waisted of time, Regret why i was A T U.

I share herein the “big discomfort” I had with this company today. In short I went to this company on last Monday and scheduled a service in my car (just swap the summer by the winter tires) for last Tuesday at 6 hrs. However some minutes before the scheduled service someone from the company called me and asked me if could reschedule for today (Saturday) at 8 Hrs. This is not typically a good day and time (Mainly in cold days as on last weeks), but I gently accepted the proposed and adjusted by other personal activities to that. However to my surprise when I went there today in the agreed day and time I was informed that there was none slot reservation to my service. I calmly explained all the history of my service schedule and the attendant proposed other days or keep my car there until the lunch time (4 hours period) to “try” to perform my service. I have got very nervous and irritated with that and did not accept, because I consider this a deep lack of commitment to the agreed schedules, without at least a “sorry for the mistake, we will improve our processes”. I consider so this company with a profound lack of professionalism and reliability. I DO NOT recommend it.
