Had the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel, for someone that travels weekly. The walls are quite thick, blocking all the noise and the bed is very comfortable. The best part of my stay was using the gym. Definitely coming back!

I expected a premium club. I got rigid, confrontational customer service. A scheduled phone call was simply ignored. No cancellation. No apology. A medical certificate after illness was treated like some bureaucratic crime because it was not submitted within a “certain timeframe”. The problem is: this timeframe seems to exist only inside the staff’s internal rulebook, while the member is expected to magically know it. At the same time, regulars and even staff quietly whisper about strange €49 day-pass clients allegedly breaking into lockers and stealing belongings, while long-term family members are treated with zero flexibility. The lockers are worn out. The showers feel like Soviet school casemates. The pool logistics are bizarre. Down the stairs to swim. Up the stairs again after the pool. The whole premium image falls apart the moment comfort and customer service are tested in real life.

We visited with my wife mainly for the pool. The water temperature is excellent—very comfortable for swimming—but it’s often crowded. The hidden costs are unpleasant. We decided to take a break for the summer and cancel our membership, and we were required to return our membership cards, for which we had paid €50 each. When we bought them, the staff told us that this registration fee (Anmeldungsgebühr) was only charged once. However, if we decide to come back, we’ll have to pay €100 again for both of us just to get the plastic cards again, since we had to return them when we paused our membership.
