Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Small music venue with great atmosphere.

Great location for live acts Definitely check out bands that perform live in Ampere. It's small, tiny, crowded and you'll be more or less in the first row for sure, as it's more of a wide than long hall. 🤗

Absolutely lovely venue. Intimate, but with lots of different places to stand (raised areas to the side, upstairs, etc). Everything was really clean and sounded great. Looking forward to seeing another show here!

Cool when you are front stage, not so cool when you are on the back ( audio it's not so perfect from the back ). But overall a very smooth and nice experience!

Saw Baroness and Spiritbox here. Great smaller place for a rock show, good sound, good feels.
