The old town square of Ingolstadt, very well preserved, and probably all the town-famous restaurants are around. Augustiner Bräu Theresienhof - Illinger Haus is definitely the one worth mentioning, a almost 400 years old building serves the best German dishes in town. Came at the beginning of Nov., when it's all foggy, but just makes the town a lot more back to the old times 😁

I always like to go to the old part of each city and this one was not an exception and not a disappointment either. Very clean, lots of nice stores and restaurants, calm people and nice weather.

Eine schöne gemütliche Altstadt

Jeder kennt Ingolstadt als Audi-Stadt, aber niemand kann sagen, wie es aussieht. Indolstadt hat eine sehr schöne, guterhaltene Altstadt, die sich gut zu Fuss erkunden lässt. Vom Rathaus aus geht man der Spitalstrasse entlang, biegt rechts in die Schäffbräustrasse ein und dann links in die Hohe-Schul-Strasse. Fast am Ende kann man die Hohe-Schul besuchen. Etwas weiter kommt man zum Kreuz-Tor. Unbedingt die Ausstellung und die Räume besichtigen. Anschliessend das Liebfrauenmünster besichtigen und etwa 200 Meter weiter die Asamkirche Maria de Victoria. Die Kirche aus dem 16 Jahrhundert mit wunderschönen und gut erhaltenen Malereien. Über die Theresienstrasse und Ludwigstrasse die Altstadt erkunden und schon ist man beim Neuen Schloss angekommen. Schlendert man der Stadtmauer entlang, kommt man wieder zum Rathaus zurück. Eine sehenswerte Stadt. Und zum Schluss kann man noch das Audi Forum mit dem Museum besuchen. Ein tolles Wochenende in Ingolstadt.
