During the one and half hour free time following a guided Viking River Cruise walking tour, we were very pleased to locate this Brewhouse only 10 minutes from the docking/motorcoach parking. Delicious dark Dunkel beer with We shared Bavarian sausages and sour kraut (so good and different from home!), white sausages and pretzel. We sat in the shady streetside patio with a view of the Castle Oberhaus. We had excellent and timely service. Very pleased and we recommend. I'm not sure why the current rating is below 4.5...

Fast service, good personal, the food is amazing good. I like that it is well known by locals and tourists not so often. Is a good place to have lunch or a drink. Is it worth checking out the place. The schnitzel is very good. Thanks for the amazing time

A typical Bavarian place with traditional meals. Been here a couple of times and will always visit when in Passau. Traditional atmosphere, friendly staff and genuine Bavarian meals. Visited it in summer and in winter and experienced both realities. In summer it can be packed with a lot of demand, though we were lucky to get a table outside, and in winter it is quiet with a local atmosphere, as most of the customers are locals. Great service and great local vibe. The food is genuine and I was lucky to visit it during their Schweinshaxe period (January to February). Tried it, loved it and will definitely try again.

If you got to Passau, please don't skip coming here and have some local food specials. Eating here is a must. We ate here twice (we stayed for two nights in Passau) and whatever we chose from the menu was amazing. Tasty, for the eye and mouth. We were lucky it did not rain so we were sitting outside. This is a must visit place for food.

We love the food here . the roasted pork is superb. goulash is good but better eat with pickles veggies. the fried camembear is a surprised as it taste so good thanit appears. recommended.
