Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Fürth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Fürth is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

My number one go to classy Greek restaraunt!! The staff is like family there fast effective and so friendly!! The food I don’t have to say more anything you try is great! I’ve tried almost every single thing here and havent been disappointed. The only thing I recommend is to order single dishes for appetizers and not the platters because you miss to many little things with the platters. Keep up the great work A+++

Every time I am back in Nuremberg, I have to order (unfortunately only order nowadays) some greek specialties (Gyros is my favorite) from Alpha Restaurant. The quality is always great and the service very friendly. I can fully recommend this restaurant if you are close to Fuerth or Nuremberg.
