For anything on wheels, from a tyre change to a new vehicle, the basics apply: confirm the price up front, ask about the warranty on parts and labour, and get a receipt. Third-party insurance is compulsory, and the dealer will usually arrange the registration (Zulassung) and number plates for you. Busy periods are the tyre-change weeks in spring and autumn and the days before the summer holidays, and breakdown cover through ADAC or your insurer is worth having.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 am–10 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 7145549. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, allguth.de.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Fuel good price... self-service no problems.

I love the whole concept of Allguth and this station in particular. You can have your car washed, refueled and the trunk filled out of the wide range of beverages they offer. Even on sundays, which is not very common in Munich.

This is my regular carwash with Waschstraße, I keep coming back because it does the job very well for a reasonable price. During our latest visit we were able to pay for the Waschstraße with card, which was convenient. There is at the moment a big construction site on the street before the carwash but the building is still easily reachable.

I do not recommend this peco at all. He is an elderly employee with a tattoo on his hand. I went to fill up the car today. I paid for the diesel and also ordered a coffee. He charged me twice for the coffee. I got into a fight with him because he doesn't know anything, it was pretending to be raining. If his boss sees this message, shame on their peco because he didn't charge me 2 euros, but shame on the employee, he deserves to be fired, he has no business there. Be careful not to suffer like me, being charged twice for a product. He has his head in the clouds and charges you twice. Shame on the boss, shame on the employee at home.

Self cleaning stations are closed on religious holiday. How does it make sense? I don’t know, I suppose if service doesn’t involve any worker why not allow people clean their cars even in holiday? This is insane
