Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium

Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium is a weiterführende schulen in Erlangen, Bayern. It is listed at Dompfaffstraße 111, 91056 Erlangen, which places it among the local businesses of Erlangen that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as weiterführende schule, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Choosing a Kita, school or course means looking at the curriculum, group sizes, staff qualifications and the fee schedule, including what is not covered. Kita places are scarce in most cities, so register early, often before the child is born, through the municipal portal or directly with the Kita, and ask about the Kita-Gutschein or fee subsidy where your city offers one. Primary schools (Grundschulen) enrol by catchment area, while the choice between Gymnasium, Realschule and Gesamtschule comes after year four.

Opening hours are published for 1 day a week. On most of those days it is open 07:30–16:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium on 09131 5332440; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is asg-er.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

It does not have a Google rating yet. That is common for new or small businesses and says nothing about quality; if you visit, leaving a review helps the next person who is weighing up the same choice.

Erlangen is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Erlangen is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.
