For anything on wheels, from a tyre change to a new vehicle, the basics apply: confirm the price up front, ask about the warranty on parts and labour, and get a receipt. Third-party insurance is compulsory, and the dealer will usually arrange the registration (Zulassung) and number plates for you. Busy periods are the tyre-change weeks in spring and autumn and the days before the summer holidays, and breakdown cover through ADAC or your insurer is worth having.

Regensburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Erstklassige Fahrschule!

Went there for admission, an old guy was sitting on admission ciunter, talked very rudely with me and my wife. When we asked if practical lessons could be done in English he said this is "Bayern, we speak only Bayrisch here". We were told on phone that they could also practical lessons in English though. My 3 years old son was with us who started touching one of pencils on his desk, he pushed his hand and took it away vexatiously. I guess he would be also practical driving instructor besides theory, so I will never recommend such kind of short tempered and disrespectful guy as an (driving-) instructor.

Hello to everyone! This Fahrschule I will strongly recommend to you as I had very good experience with Mr. Bemmerl. The price is cheap and also he is dedicated to teach you the right way. The car is a Ford Fiesta and is really good for beginner due to its small size and easy parking. Mr. Bemmerl is a bit strict and would like to point you all mistakes that you make during practice but I take it as advice and that helped me a lot to pass the practical exam. If you are only English speaker then you might have some difficulty in communication with him but honestly you do not need that much of German knowledge to learn driving. You just need to understand the command from the examiner. He will prepare you for the practical exam very thoroughly and will teach you all tricks and tips. I would recommend therefore Bemmerl Fahrschule with a 4-5 star with respect to cost and services. I received my class B driving licence from this school on 15th April this year. Thanks a lot!
