Relax chill atmosphere with excellent cake, coffee, staff were so friendly and they speak English fine no communication issue so glad we gone to this local cafe for brunch

I had a great time at Aegis Café in Ulm! The place looks super cozy and modern, with plenty of natural light and comfy seating. The food was top-notch – I loved their avocado toast, and the coffee was perfect. The staff were really friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful decoration, it looks like an art gallery, every detail is wisely thought about. Wide variety of drinks, cakes are fine, nice music. The place is also really spacious, it has tables outside, in a terrace and inside there are loads of tables, corners, sofas to take a seat. There should be more coffees like this in Germany.

Nice indoor space (did not get to sit on the courtyard due to bad weather), with ample room and clean line interior deco. However, the service leaves much to be desired. It took a while to get the menu; the drinks menu arrived reasonably quickly but the food menu took about 20 minutes. It was another 20 minutes before the order was taken and about half an hour before any food arrived. As it was a busy Sunday morning and there was no available tables, we were initially seated at the bar area. When moved to an available table, it was still dirty from the previous customers, and was only cleaned after we had been seated. Even then, half of the bread crumbles on the table were summarily pushed off the table and all over us, while the cleaning was done with a wet vetex and the table left wet post-clean up (not the epitomy of cleanliness). The food itself was ok, but overpriced for what it is and lukewarm, which indicates kitchen management issues. Last, when bill time arrived, the waiter had to check with us on the multiple items we had ordered; I’d have thought this cafe is equipped with appropriate order I take software and not rely on the customer’s memory of what they had ordered in
