I would not recommend 1A Fahrschule for Umschreibung purposes. I had just moved from California and needed to transfer my driver’s license, which legally only required theory and practical exams, no lessons. I chose them because they advertised English-speaking service and initially made it sound straightforward. Only after I signed and paid did things changed. I was told they wouldn’t offer driving lessons until I passed the theory exam, and that they wouldn’t register me for the practical test without lessons, which contradicts what we discussed. I would be okay with the conditions, but why not tell me before payment?! I passed the theory with 0 errors and asked for a few lessons just to be on the safe side, but then got put on a waiting list for over a month. They said they’d call me back, but never did. I spent another two months trying to reach them, getting vague timelines and no clear answers, while my 6-month window to drive here with my California license expired. From July to December, nothing moved forward. I eventually switched schools and finished everything within a few weeks. Overall, poor communication, lack of transparency, and a frustrating experience.

I recently passed my Class B practical exam, and just a month earlier, my theory exam, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at 1A Fahrschule. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, well-organized, and incredibly supportive. A huge highlight of my experience was the way the school helped me arrange my lessons. I opted for an intensive course, and despite the very busy schedules of all the instructors, the team managed to organize everything for me in a short time. They were flexible, understanding, and really made an effort to accommodate my needs. And on top of that, Volkan, my instructor, even took time out of his already full schedule to make sure I got the lessons I needed. That dedication meant a lot. And speaking of Volkan, he truly deserves special recognition. Coming from outside the EU, the driving rules here were completely new to me, I had many insecurities and doubts in the beginning, but Volkan is the one who helped me overcome all of them. He was extremely patient, even when I kept making the same mistakes during lessons, and he always explained things clearly and calmly. Lesson by lesson, he helped me build confidence, understand the rules proper

I recommend 1A Fahrschule for anyone seeking a reliable and professional driving school. My experience with them was positive from beginning to end. They genuinely support their students, and the availability of English-speaking instructors is beneficial for those who do not speak German. I would like to highlight my instructor, Volkan, who was extremely helpful. His clear explanations and expert advice significantly contributed to my learning. He responded quickly and organized the classes well, which helped me stay on track during my lessons. In summary, I would recommend 1A Fahrschule without any hesitations.

I highly recommend 1A Fahrschule to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional driving school. My experience with them was exceptional from start to finish. They genuinely care about their students, and their English-speaking trainers make the process smooth and stress-free for non-German speakers. A special shoutout to my instructor, Chris, who was absolutely fantastic! His patience, clear explanations, and expert guidance made a huge difference in my confidence and skills. Thanks to him, I passed my driving exam today on the first try! If you’re looking for the best driving school, 1A Fahrschule is the way to go!
