From the website: “Kitchen closes at 21” I call at 20:15 and ask if we can still order if we show up in 15 mins I show up at 20:30 (15 mins later) —> they tell us that the kitchen is closed The end

Silverwald provides an excellent atmosphere for a comfortable experience in a typical Bavarian/Swabian Biergarten. The menu is limited to Tradition fare, which is second to none. The Krustenbraten and Schnitzel are Family Favorites. One does need to plan for long delays in food service, though. The kitchen is typically & continually understaffed. The wait staff in the Biergarten will often not take food orders for 30-45 minutes in order to "not overwhelm the kitchen". Regardless, this is a good place for a refreshing drink as you relax from a bicycle trip through the forest.

A great place to be. The service is outstanding, and the food was excellent. I’d highly recommend the Scheinebraten, the Kasespatzle, and the entrecôte!! We loved this restaurant and we’ll surely be back!

Nice traditional German restaurant with a good location in the forest. Away from the busy city area of Ulm & Neu Ulm. Available outdoor sitting which is perfect for the summer.
