I was enrolled in an integration course here. One of the teachers disrespected me and then started a campaign of bullying me by ignoring me and refusing to interact with me. I made a complaint to the “professional advice” lady and she asked me to provide evidence. She then interviewed the teacher and believed everything the teacher had to say. Without asking for any evidence for her. When I called her out on this double standard and said that it gave me no reason to believe that she’s impartial, she threw me out of my course. Other students had made contact with her or tried to, to let her know about this teachers behaviour, but all of this didn’t matter. She had decided that I was the enemy and made defamatory remarks about me being a threat. I’m currently contemplating raising a criminal complaint with the police about this behaviour. Avoid this school. They are utterly horrible. You will get no support there. The other students had said that this teacher had done similar to other students. So she is permitted to get away with being a bully and my education is subverted in response. Just stay away. There are other VHS in Berlin. Probably with better management and better compl

Hey, everybody! My experience with the integration course from A1 to B1 and the course ‘Life in Germany’ has been a positive one, despite the reviews and evaluation of the school. I chose it purely on the basis of its location and my inner feeling. There are nuances in the training, the course was very fast and it is a really intensive course. I wish some of the conditions were a bit different, but overall I am grateful to the teachers Jolan and Johanna for the knowledge and their efforts!!!! It was a pleasure to receive knowledge from these teachers!!! I recommend these teachers!!!

It's literally the worst place you can ever go to to study german. I registered my mother, who doesn't know any word in german, in the german course and boy that had to have been the worst decision of my life. They dont take their time to explain anything. Like they expect the people that come to LEARN german to already KNOW german. And now they kicked my mother out of the course because she wasn't understanding anything? During the time my mom went to this horrible school, she felt really anxious, had anxiety all the time, and was also super stressed. She even got mad at herself for not understanding fast. So yeah, overall, not a good school, dont make the same mistake i made.

I visited today (28/08/2024) to get an appointment for the Einbürgerung test. A man handed out numbers to those in the queue, which had formed since around 8 am for the 9 am office hours. After a while, he realized that some of us were there specifically for the Einbürgerung test. He then started taking our numbers back and rudely asked us to leave, insisting that there were no appointments available. However, just yesterday (Tuesday), we saw that appointments were available on the website, and we know that Wednesday and Thursday are the only days to book them. When we questioned him about this, he refused to explain and continued shouting at us to leave. Eventually, he said there was a mistake and that they don't have any appointments today. There were at least 10 to 15 people who came, all of whom have things to do in their lives. It was already frustrating enough that there was an error on your side, but the man could have at least explained the situation. An apology was certainly warranted, but instead, we were met with "I don't have time, leave the place." This was a very unpleasant experience. I understand that you may be overworked, but that does not give you the right to
