Standing in the center of Coburg’s Marktplatz honestly feels like stepping right into a vibrant, living postcard. Spent a fantastic afternoon here just admiring the incredibly colorful historic buildings. The absolute showstopper of the square is the massive Stadthaus building taking up the entire northern side. I was completely blown away by its gorgeous late-Renaissance facade, especially those two stunning, highly detailed corner bay windows known as the "Coburg Oriels."
