Without a doubt, Hong Yun Lai is the best Asian buffet I have tried in Germany so far. 💯 What makes this restaurant stand out is the incredible variety of food. The seafood selection is outstanding, with different types of fish, octopus, squid, and many other fresh options. Unlike most buffets that mainly offer beef, chicken, and pork, Hong Yun Lai also serves exotic meats such as kangaroo and zebra, making the dining experience truly unique. Another huge advantage is that drinks are included in the buffet price. You can enjoy unlimited refills and choose from a wide selection of soft drinks available in cans and bottles from several freezers throughout the restaurant. It's rare to find such great value nowadays. For only €34 per person, you get an impressive selection of food and drinks that is hard to match anywhere else. The quality, variety, and overall dining experience easily exceed the price. Great services overall. There were however some porblems. We used the mid-day buffet, the options were mainly chicken. Most beef option that were there previously were not available anymore. Also we expected a barbecue space to serve our food warm which was not working anymore. Generally I found the place kinda nice but it has certainly lost its quality and great services oveetime. The buffet includes unlimited soft drinks which is nice.

Too expensive and the buffet wasn't really amazing. If you've had an all-you-can-eat buffet before, you know what to expect. But this was a real letdown. For children aged 5 to 8, it was 20 euros per child, and for adults close to 40 euros per person. In other parts of Germany, it is cheaper, more extensive, and tastier. And the servers rolled their eyes at guests when they cleared the plates. That attitude isn't necessary. They don't know what hospitality is.

Unfortunately it’s a big NO from us ! We came today at lunch time because we have seen the pictures online and thought we would love to try it out ! We travel a lot and we try as much food as possible to compare . The food was 1. Overcooked 2.cold 3. Half of the dishes were missing Atmosphere was not on point . Service slow , bored , like they wished we were not there . Sorry guys but this is no Chinese food!

Lovely experience at this restaurant for dinner. The buffet is absolutely delicious. If you love seafood this is the place to eat. They also have a variety of nice drinks to go with the food and the best part is that it’s all inclusive in the price you pay for the buffet. All in all very value for money kinda place 🤩
