Great food, with the broccoli tempura and onglet being the clear highlights. A few dishes, including Frings' tomatoes, could have used a bit more depth, but the overall price-to-quality ratio is excellent. Definitely recommended for foodies in/visiting Cologne. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, offering an amuse-bouche at the start and an "Absacker" to finish the meal. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between laid-back and refined. P.S. If you're wondering about the soy-nut butter served with the bread: it tastes remarkably like Werther's Original candy. You're welcome.

We visited Fabian over Christmas for a business dinner, and it was an overall wonderful experience. We received a very warm welcome, followed by a thoughtful menu introduction, and were recommended a wine that we all absolutely loved. 😍 We ordered everything on the menu to experience it all, and I must say the flavor combinations and presentation were outstanding. A quick note: instead of large individual portions, they serve a variety of dishes meant to be shared and ordered in rounds, which actually makes the experience even more enjoyable. Another great point is that the second round doesn’t take long to arrive. Highly recommended 🥰
