Location really good and reasonable Price. But the room was very outdated / filthy and with no A/C it can get really hot. The shower is in a bathtub, but with no holder for the showerhead plus it was very slippery, not an enjoyable experience. Check-in was automated which was nice, since I arrived late. On the upside, dogs are allowed.

Worst experience ever. I arrived at 12.18am in night with a confirmed booking, but the hotel provided no check-in instructions and did not respond to any calls. The self checkin machine was not working at all. I called several times no one came. There was no emergency number, nothing to help. I was left stranded and had to stay outside whole night in cold. Booking.com confirmed the hotel failed to honour the reservation, but even after 20 days, no refund has been issued. Completely unacceptable service from both the hotel and Booking.com. Avoid this property at any cost.

They are very, very unprofessional. They run a hotel like an African shebeen. The staff is disrespectful. Firstly, the guy who calls himself the owner of the hotel, opened the door of my room without knocking at all while l was sleeping. This is considered invasion of privacy, and its reportable to police. Secondly, another bald guy knocked at the door on my check out date at 8:00 am to tell me to leave when the official check out time is 11 am. This was weird for me. Thirdly, my room was never cleaned. They only changed towels for the 4 nights l was there. People visiting Bayreuth consider other places please if you want to enjoy your stay in that small city. The staff needs a bit more training around hotel and hospitality.

Our price for four (quadrouple room) was around €190 per night, which is not cheap. We are pretty disappointed about the room. We will give a bad feedback…. We have 5 rooms (we guess around 20 people) at our floor for one bathroom which shares one wc as well. The bathroom/wc has a transparent window to the city which allows to have an unwanted eye/video recording from outside of the building. We don’t feel that our privacy is granted… Keep away from this hotel… I give 0 (1) star to all in order to help people avoiding this pain…
