Food: not even close to yabase in düsseldorf or iroha in frankfurt but stuck up nosy arrogance tops them all. Service (or better say attitude): -5 The cook behind the counter seems like the most arrogant but also the least happy person on earth. Too obvious he doesn’t welcome any guests. The waitress does all the best she can do, but seems to be sandwiched between the cook and the guests. Poor one. I really think due to the stinky attitude and the bad atmosphere caused by that makes this place one of the most rememberable not-to-go japanese restaurant in Germany.

The food was extraordinary, the service was excellent and everything about this place was lovely and welcoming. We came here quite last minute and they still offered us a great spot even though they said earlier we had to sit at the bar (which would’ve been fine as well). Fish was of excellent quality, the food is freshly prepared in the small kitchen and the sushi are prepared at the bar, super fresh as well. We will definitely come back! Even got a little parting gift. Loved everything about this place :-)

Really authentic Japanese restaurant run by Japanese. Sushi were superb and really delicious. You can also order a variety of dishes which you usually don’t get from “Japanese” restaurants in Europe, such as soba noodles and udon. We ordered the set menu and were attentively served by the wait staff. Octopus was served in a delicious yuzu/ponzu light sauce. Sashimi was delicate and fresh. Rice in sushi was done to perfection.
