This bookstore is amazing. I love, in particular, their selection of English-language books. I love to come in and just browse and gather ideas for what to read next. They also host really interesting events. It’s a community gem!

A perfect, cozy place to enjoy your book with a cup of coffee or tea. Also this shop own a great variety of book to choose from.Besides it occasionally organize program for book lovers. Definitely check it out 😍

best bookstore I’ve EVER been to! I would honestly come back to Cologne anytime just to visit @manulit.buch again! Books are not sorted into classic genres or divided by languages, but rather combined by „vibe“ or trope, mixing fiction and non-fiction, German and English on one shelf, so it’s almost like scrolling through #booktok but in real life, you can find so many books that speak to you in such an organic, intuitive way!! They have a coffee shop-in-shop, which makes everything so so cozy and home-y, they have their own book club once a month and I would SO love to be part of that! Apart from all that, the owners are absolute gems, taking their time to talk to every customer, taking a genuine interest, making everyone from beginner to bookworm extremely SEEN! I almost cried from joy when we left and if I had a bigger suitcase, I’d probably would have gotten at least 20 books instead of only 3. if you want to have a warm heart and love books, this shop is a MUST for you, please support small businesses!!!
