I was disappointed given all the positive reviews. Principally, we were not asked how we wanted our steaks done, so one came out medium well done, which in my opinion ruined it. Admittedly, we forgot to make a proactive request, but we had the night off, the server didn't, and we'd never not been asked this in a steakhouse. Other than that, the service was ok. We felt a little bit rushed sometimes. The house wine was warm and 11.50 eur for a plate of green salad, tomatoes & onion is excessive. Generally, the style of the restaurant is casual and rustic, which can have its charm, but it also translates into somewhat careless approach to service and food, which does not justify the high prices. Definitely not a 5-star experience.

Popped in Saturday without a reservation and very busy but they managed to squeeze myself and wife in. Had the rump steak which was cooked perfectly and the service was very attentive and the place had a great vibe

An amazing Argentinian restaurant, it’s the best and oldest one in Europe, it’s running by Argentinian family. Very testy steak and perfect house wine with very reasonable price. Our plates recommended by the waiter Christiano and even the sauce and wine! He just knows what you want and he is professional! The owner was there too. All staff like a family. Don’t miss it if you are in Cologne!

The meat was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Our server, Christiano, was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations that made the experience even better. The house wine was also very good and paired perfectly with the meal. Highly recommended! The oldest Argentinian steak house in Europe.

WOW - So amazing we had to go twice. Came here for my partner’s birthday dinner, had the most amazing steaks, malbec, cocktails, port wine melon desert, and then came back the next day for even more. The server Luis is the most genial caring server we’ve had in Köln. I highly recommend this for an excellent taste of Argentina!
