Have enjoyed coming here regularly in the past, the ice cream is good, but the service felt unnecessarily rude on my last visit. I waited in the queue which extended onto the street for a few minutes until staff member placed a gate in front of me halfway across the door without explanation. I thought maybe to keep a single file queue or no dogs. Continuing to wait in the queue, I stepped around it to enter the shop and was immediately informed they were closed (three minutes past closing time) and the gate was in fact to prevent me from entering the shop. Considering I was already in a queue for several minutes , There was no one else in the queue behind me, and I only wanted two ice creams, the interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive and unfriendly. After this experience, unfortunately I won’t be visiting again.

Great ice cream Shop. You can buy 500 ml (8€) and 1000 ml pints. Options: with waffle and without Vegan options and some funky flavours like lavender sour cream. Recommended option: Cocolate sorbet. Sometimes there is cake too!

Delicious waffles at a great price! They were very filling, and we enjoyed all of the vegan options. Service was very quick and friendly. Loved the dainty dishes and cutlery and the cute look of the cafe. We plan on returning!

We were on our way to get dinner further up the street as we popped in out of curiousity, just before Die Eisdealerin would close. As we were thinking aloud how it would have made a perfect desert if they'd been open a bit longer they overheard and offered us a solution; since they would be there a bit longer to close shop anyway we could pick and pay for our ice cream beforehand and just knock on the door after closing time to get it fresh out of the fridge! We did! Super nice customer service and the lavender schmand was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend this place

Really nice and pleasant staff. I would definitely visit here more often to grab ice cream in sunny days. The quality of ice cream is also great. They even provide Vegan ice cream in same different tastes.
