I came here a few years ago and had a really nice time, but was very disappointed this time. Our experience in one word would be "eerie" Everything was as clean and comfortable as you would expect for such a cheap hostel, and it was all a bit run down. This would all be ok if the vibe was good, however the majority of people staying at the hostel are older long-term residents who range from quiet and helfpul to creepy and uncomfortable. I stayed with my girlfriend in a mixed room that ended up being just us two and one much older man who moved our things, dictated what we were allowed to put on our half of the table (apparently using the table to store a makeup bag, a bottle of water, and our phones was completely impossible), and spread his belongings across all of the chairs in the room. The common area is nice, and the kitchen is clean and well stocked enough. I would actually recommend it quite highly for a larger group that could take a whole room, as the common area is large, it's cheap, and it's well located. But there's definitely a roll of the dice that is weighted towards a more unpleasant experience if you're travelling solo or in a small group. (Also my gf and I

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The rooms were dirty, the showers were ok in terms of hygiene but they didn’t have curtains, and the windows in the bedroom couldn’t get closed… let me tell you that the neighbourhood was great, practical but extremely loud and not being able to close the window shouldn’t be legal. The other guests of the hostel were very loud as well but that’s not the hostels fault. I took the pictures as soon as I entered the room and no one else had already put their stuff… Also keep in mind that it’s shared bathroom (there were only 3 for the entire hostel), and that they don’t even provide hand soap in the bathroom. Also in terms of privacy, it’s inexistant. There’s no beds curtains and if the person on the same bunk bed moves, you’ll feel it too. The personal was ok, no more no less. Overall, it’s practical for the price but really not sanitary nor good.

Good location. But full of old homeless men living there, don’t recommend for young solo travellers, especially not women.

Terrible. The good reviews made us book but they must be lies. Either AI or the owner himself, because as another reviewer wrote “worst experience”. It was incredibly dirty and worn out. Food leftovers, dirty dishes, stained walls, floors, beds and sheets (that didn’t fit the beds), dirty toilets, showers and urinals. I’m not writing to create problems for the hostel but to warn, especially girls. It was unpleasant and we felt unsafe and disgusting. Even though we paid for three nights and are on a budget, we left after the first night. Couldn’t stay there.
