Careful, only cash there ! There were a variety of cakes, pastries, and breads. Beautiful to look at, but also absolutely delicious to eat. And the staff are incredibly lovely!

I went to what is known as the best bakery in Cologne around 6pm in October. There were still so many good pastries it was hard to choose from. A line started to form, but everyone was enjoying the space. You can tell the food is made with love, it's traditional, delicious, and the attendants were very welcoming. I paid with cash, for one small bread and 2 big pastries 4.5€. Amazing for the price! There is no chairs to sit on, but it's nice to get it and take to a park or home for breakfast :)

A local, traditional and rustic bakery. Everything is fresh, the pastries are delicious and the service is decent. You can tell this place has been around for some time, and that local frequent it every day. There’s a wide selection of bread, too. Over 20 types I would say. If you go in, you’re guaranteed to find something. Enjoy your exploration and whichever delight you may pick at this bakery.

One of my favorite Bäckerei! Reached the place at the break of down, and one can see the condense on the window from the warmth of the freshly backed goods. The options were almost endless and the quality of their products can be tasted at every bite. A must in Köln.

There was a queue to enter the shop, definitely not a common sight in this part of the world. Had to try! Definitely not disappointed. Some of the bestsellers were already sold out. Bought 5 items based on the recommendations of the staff who was so friendly trying to speak to us in English. Prices were very reasonable. Pastries tasted delicious. The tart with berries were amazing! Definitely will visit again.
