Great little bakery a few minutes from Cologne central train station. The place is small, but staff speak some English, everything is Perry good and they do have a few indoor seats.

Very good local bakery with solid choice of sweet cakes and sandwiches. High quality fresh goods. Also offering a filter coffee which is so much better than this industrial crema (unless the right machine is present). They also offer a place to sit, but it’s not their virtue. A sandwich for dining in should probably be cut and presented somewhat more appealing. Nevertheless if you are in for a breakfast - do it!

Bought two bread here as to-go breakfast option. One of the bread, the salami selection was a little too salty, other than that, both bread was decent. However the staff looks like she is not happy with her job, not a smile, or even a slight good service attitude 🙃 lady why no quit the job and go home sleep, who forced you to work here?

I tried several items at Bäckerei & Konditorei Der Butterbäcker Höschler in Cologne recently. The favourite was Bienenstich as it was not overly sweet. Overall, I’d give it 8.5/10

Nice place for breakfast - lots of various pastries to choose from, as well as savory treats and good bread. Friendly service, honest prices and also places to eat in with cappuccino and coffee in actual cups. Very close to the central station. Recommended.
